Awsome product
Posted by Randy Chevrier on 28th Apr 2018
I have wanted this item for awhile. Finally took the plunge and purchased one. I have only used it a few times and I love it. Very good quality. Heats up very quickly. Highly recommend it to anyone that likes to go in the bush with minimal gear.

Water never tasted better. Perfect match for the: Helikon-Tex E & E Pouch. Lifetime investment that I use all the time (even for regular, nighttime drinking and when I first wake up.

Tough enough for anything.

Extremely light weight, but thick enough walls to take a beating outdoors. Cleans up easy from the fire with a good scrubbing. Leaves water tasting fresh as ever after storage. This thing is built to last a lifetime.

Astounding

The entire kit is really, really light. I know you think you know how light it's going to be… but it still surprises.
Doesn't leak, there's a handy little loop on the cap, and the canteen cup handles lock together securely. Fit between canteen and cup is just right: they come apart easily, but don't really rattle.
Now I'm on the lookout for a super light cover to attach to the side of my haversack; I don't need all the bells and whistles of the MCC.

Superb quality

Yes, it's expensive. Sometimes you need to pay that extra amount for quality and rugged construction of a product that will last - and this is one prime example. Well made, fit and finish are perfect, strong, lightweight - this is the reference for all other canteens.

Undeniably the best water carry system available
Posted by Doug on 17th Feb 2018
Without a doubt the Heavy Cover titanium canteen mess kit is the standard bearer industry wide. Quality is impeccable, materials are proven, and its utility is undeniable. Whether just for an emergency kit, in the home or car, or for daily carry (yes, I EDC this kit) there is no better compliment of capacity, and capability, especially when combined with a high quality carrier like the Center-Line-Systems “Mother.”
Is it pricey? Yes, it is a spendy item.
Is it worth it? For most people that are even considering it, it is undoubtedly worth it. It is highly unlikely that you will EVER need to replace it. WWII and Korea era GI Canteen kits are still knocking around the woods on the belts of hikers and bush crafters.
Any Regrets? Only that I didn’t order one when I first started weighing it as an option and spent a similar amount on stainless water bottles (plural), and nesting cups with lids (plural).

Excellent Kit
Posted by Terry P on 16th Jan 2018
Slightly larger than a USGI canteen for fluid ounces, but only an actual ounce or so heavier than a Nalgene GI style canteen. This one is bomb proof, light as a feather, and very well made. Well worth the cost as you will never need another canteen or canteen cup. Fantastic product !
